"Les autres" by Christine Angot

J’ai souvent pensé à ce texte de Christine Angot comme titre d’exposition. Le livre est une véritable ‘installation’ littéraire, la premiere phrase me hante : « Je n’avais plus d’idée. J’ai demandé aux autres de me parler. Ils ont des vies, qu’on doit pouvoir raconter.  Je me disais. Les autres. »

I often thought of this text by Christine Angot as a title for an exhibition. The book is a true literary 'installation,' the first sentence haunts me: 'I had no more ideas. I asked others to talk to me. They have lives that we should be able to tell. I thought to myself. The others.
