"Vaterland" by Katrin Jakobsen

Cet ouvrage résulte d’un travail sur son père qui a été dans les jeunesses hitleriennes mais qui ne lui a jamais raconté. Elle a entrepris un travail de reconstruction imaginaire autour de ça. L’artiste a retrouvé un carnet, à la mort de son père qui retrace le parcours lorsqu’il a fuit, en mai 1945.

Katrin Jakobsen a mis en regard les écrits de son père , ses réponses écrites et les images qu’elle a réalisée.

This book is the result of a work on her father who was in the Hitler Youth but who never told her about it. She undertook a work of imaginary reconstruction around that. The artist found a notebook, after her father's death, which retraces his journey when he fled in May 1945.

Katrin Jakobsen put together her father's writings, his written answers and the images she made.
