"Banlieue Parisienne" by Tom Drahos

À partir des années 1970, Tom Drahos bouleverse sa manière de travailler en utilisant la couleur et en entamant une œuvre plasticienne utilisant l'image comme expérimentation.

Il poursuit ce processus créatif lors de sa participation à la Mission photographique de la DATAR. Dans son travail sur la banlieue parisienne, il emploie lors de ses prises de vue des filtres de couleur puis manipule le film photographique en le décomposant et le recomposant pour former l'image finale.

From the 1970s, Tom Drahos changed his way of working by using color and by starting a plastic work using the image as an experiment.

He continued this creative process during his participation in the Photographic Mission of the DATAR. In his work on the Parisian suburbs, he uses color filters during his shots and then manipulates the photographic film by decomposing and recomposing it to form the final image.
